The Silent Struggle

Being humans as social beings, we all have tendency of empathizing and caring. And we do that for others and ourselves too. We take care of our loved ones, our dear things and physical beings but what we forgot to take care is of our mental health. We usually forget that in vivid tapestry of our life, mental health is everything that binds us.

In our everyday life, we live a social life like an open book, but what really gets covered is our mental health. The actual struggle of our life which we don't reveal or talk about. This happens maybe because we suffer from the fear of judgemental or maybe we lack confidence, or just we simply assume that there's no point of talking this as no one would understand. This results that we delve into the shadows of this silent battle, uncovering the complexities, challenges, and triumphs associated with mental health. Behind the smiles that light up at social gatherings, the professional mask we wear at work or curating aesthetic images on social media, there some heavy insecurity which we carry all day all long and even if someone tries to light it up, we deny help. And this is what the major issue is with our mental health.

This writing of my perspective, is majorly to share that it is alright if you take help. It is alright if you are not right. It is alright to be emotional enough. It is totally fine if you are suffering this. It is totally fine of being scared. It totally fine of having sleepless nights sometimes as the beauty of serene night only reflects if you are wide awake. And I know that it is difficult to believe this but this whole trouble thing is alright. But what is not alright is struggling silently with your mental health. What is not fine is not doing anything about this. What is not fine is not taking help. What is not fine is running away from fears instead of fighting. This is not at all fine of compromising your mental health.

It's time to break free from this stifling silence, fostering an environment of empathy, understanding, and acceptance. The major acceptance begins from your mind by accepting the fact that this silent struggle is not fine. The journey toward healing is a testament to the indomitable spirit within each person. From therapy and medication to holistic approaches like mindfulness and self-care, the toolkit for mental well-being is vast. Embracing the diversity of methods is essential, recognizing that there's no one-size that fits-all solution. But before that it is highly need to break this silent struggle.

Concluding with this beautiful quote from film 'Dear Zindagi' - "Don't let the past blackmail your present, to ruin a beautiful future."
